| Turn it Off ! |
You will be surprised at the proportion of problems which are the result of temporary (and irritating) 'glitches'. Simply try turning it off and on again. |

If you can turn it off and on again, then you obviously have Power. However, if it seems completely dead then run through the checks on this page. Note: some of this is very basic |

What is displayed on the screen?
Notebook computers: The first 3 choices above would almost certainly indicate a hardware problem. It is best to contact the manufacturer for advice in the first instance.
